All About Me
Jill Farrington’s painting practice began just three years ago, sparked by a desire to honor meaningful places and quiet moments. Her work blends vibrant acrylics with playful mixed media to reflect the character of historic architecture, the rhythm of nature, and the charm of everyday life. From cozy porches to winding trails, each piece invites viewers to pause and savor the season.
Many of Jill’s paintings are rooted in personal memories—like The Welsh Rabbit Cheese Shop in Fort Collins, where she and her husband celebrated their engagement and wedding dinner, and where her art is now featured during First Friday Art Walks. She believes art belongs in spaces filled with warmth, laughter, and shared stories.
Outside the studio, Jill brings her whimsical spirit to the community through creative events like the Guinea Pig Paint Class Fundraiser, which raises money for local causes while guests paint cozy animal scenes. Her work is a celebration of connection—between people, places, and the joy of simply being present.
