First Friday Art Walk at The Welsh Rabbit: A Cozy Night of Art, Community, and Connection

The first Art Walk of the year at The Welsh Rabbit was everything I love about sharing art with the community — warm conversations, curious visitors, and that unmistakable buzz that fills a space when people gather around creativity.

Nestled inside the cozy brick‑and‑wood charm of The Welsh Rabbit, my table filled quickly with guests drifting in from the January chill. Some came for the Art Walk, some for cheese and conversation, and many simply followed their curiosity when they spotted the colorful canvases, whimsical animals, and nature‑inspired scenes on display.
Throughout the evening, I had the joy of talking with visitors about technique, inspiration, and the stories behind each piece. There’s something special about watching someone pause, lean in, and connect with a painting — that quiet moment when art becomes personal.
And the night held a little celebration too: my first sale of the year. A small but meaningful
milestone, especially surrounded by so many supportive faces.
What made the evening truly memorable, though, was the steady flow of people who stopped by — friends, new faces, fellow creatives, and families out enjoying the Art Walk together. The Welsh Rabbit has always been a place close to my heart, and sharing my work there feels like coming full circle every time.

As I look ahead to more events, classes, and community art moments this year, I’m grateful for everyone who showed up, asked questions, shared stories, and brought their warmth into the space.
Here’s to a year filled with creativity, connection, and many more cozy First Fridays.
Until Next Time...
